This review won't do justice to this new series but I had to at least let other reader know this book is amazing. I bought the book yesterday and couldn't put it down till I finished it late into the night. The complex characters and world the author created is magnificent and from what I've read so far I wouldn't mind living on Delphinus. There is a unique blend of mystery, suspense, sci-fi, and romance in the story and at times tissues were a must for me.Space Opera is a great description because there are several overlapping character stories and mysteries woven throughout the book. Book one wrapped up the major mystery but opens the door for several others for book two and left me craving more. I look forward to seeing more from this author and can't wait to see what other people thought of this world as well.

This was my first foray into the literacy science fiction world so with trepidation I entered the female dominated setting of Delphinus. Once I landed on Delphinus I did not want to leave! This author has me anxiously waiting for the next book. The mystical foundations blended well with the love, romance, sci-fi and mystery.
